I'm grateful for...

1. Love poems created while thinking of YOU
2. Jones vs. Calzaghe fight, family, friends, FUN...I miss ya'll. Aunt Pearl it was strange not having you there in the kitchen to use big spoons to stir big pots
3. MY PLUCKIN CREW! Ain't nothing changed, hearts still curve
4. Realizing what you are, what we aren't, and loving you anyway
5. Reaching one student at a time...Pedro you make me proud!
6. Talk of my own one woman show...Z3 is the shit!
7. Building a new house (fingers crossed)
8. My words in my poems inspire your words in your poems and I'm flattered...but ummmm, me, she, we are more than slam poets, but I wear the t-shirt well
9. The brain, the ink pen, and the poem
10. Playing hide and seek with my neice and nephew and still being small enough to crawl under the bed (LMAO)
11. The Creator keeping it moving, forgiving me, and blessing me at the same time

1. Missing you
2. The storm is almost over
3. Poetry, Music, my mother & God have saved my life more times than I can count
4. Loving you more than vulgar words can describe (smile)
5. Nyla Bear growing up and being mature enough to stay out during the day
6. Allison Ann & Impalas- thank you is all I can say due to a lack of words
7. Knowing I've made an affect on my 9th Graders and them making an affect on me
8. Under21 Slam & Neo! Which last week was FREAKIN awesome dudes!
9. Adrian Keith Fontenote's graduation (congrats little brother- I love whether I'm there or not)
10. Family support and friends that make it easier to exhale...

Bonus: Lillianna's due date June 21st. But I think she'll come before then!!!!

Thursday (still) Grateful
for...
1) You promising to make us millionaires (smile)
2) Being in love with you...it can only get better from here
3) My mama talking to me about things she may not talk to my other siblings about
4) David & I being asked to be GOD PARENTS to Brandon's first born: Lilliana
5) Nyla Bear is growing up and behaving better
6) Being asked to perform for Top Teens Ball
7) Only a week left in my certification class
8) Students that really are trying hard to do better, because they want better
9) Poetic minds through friendship, family, and love

1) Working together as a team: BoBaybid (Lol)

3) Getting to see family this weekend

6) Passing my last undergrad class with an "A"
7) GRADUATION: Dec 15th @ 10am
8) Feeling good about life
9) The slam last week: Return of the Slam Champ! It was a crazy fun show!!!!!
