More Info Once again at the ND Austin, it's our biggest show yet: a double-bill with two multiple-time national champions, Buddy Wakefield and Anis Mojgani, once again at the ND Austin.
Buddy is best known around Austin for opening for Ani DiFranco last year and his own great show earlier this year. Buddy is the two-time Individual World Poetry Slam Champion featured on NPR, the BBC, HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, and most recently signed to A...ni DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records. Anis is a two time National Poetry Slam Champion and winner of the International World Cup Poetry Slam. He has performed for audiences as varied as the House of Blues and the United Nations, and his work has appeared on HBO, NPR, and he is a National Book Award Nominee. The Buddy and Anis Show also features opening acts by Kevin Burke, Ebony Stewart, and others, as well as some aerial silk performances by Sky Candy, and will be hosted by Fellow Write Bloody Author, Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz.
