Alice
She hailed from parted rivers combined with Indian and Cajun ripples.
A Goddess of immaculate fortitude kept secret in hand palms.
Heven sent,
She is angelic with an angels face.
her smile smiles Amazing Grace from its thin spaces.
And when its gaped open I'm intrigued by her tongue and the language it speaks.
They named her Alice.
Noble and true of her wonderland's virtue
She,
is God's human expression of perfection.
I've never wondered who she was,
She hailed from parted rivers combined with Indian and Cajun ripples.
I've never wondered who she was,
Just how can I be like her?
I am honored to have lived inside of her once.
Soft tissue made my heads pillow warmer.
And my rough edges are smoothed over by the echo of her tone.
Together, braided
Bonded by her womb
-that is my sacred place even now
As always,
I go there for caring ears,
drying tears,
calming fears,
converstating piece of mind.
If I lay close enough to her heart
I'm able to dance to the beat of it.
Chiming in harmony,
Her breath exhaled my life.
I'm blessed to be apart of her kingdom.
I am honored to have lived inside of her once.
Soft tissue made my heads pillow warmer.
And my rough edges are smoothed over by the echo of her tone.
Together, braided
Bonded by her womb
-that is my sacred place even now
As always,
I go there for caring ears,
drying tears,
calming fears,
converstating piece of mind.
If I lay close enough to her heart
I'm able to dance to the beat of it.
Chiming in harmony,
Her breath exhaled my life.
I'm blessed to be apart of her kingdom.
I love you...
More than yesterday,
And twice as much tomorrow.
You are so beautiful, to me...
I see a glimpse of heaven in your pupils,
And overcame road bumps in your dimples.
Bruised, battered, beatin, Alice carried on
Writing me into her script.
They named me Ebony,
Female of dark black beauty.
Gifted with the gift of poetry,
Talented with the talents of loving,
Forgiving with the truth of being forgave.
Thank you for these traits,
And for writing me into your Kingdom.
