I remember the first time I ever woke with Michael Jackson playing on the living room stereo breaking through big black speakers.
I remember my sisters strange obsession with Michael Jackson and the Thriller poster on her wall, how she refused to take it down no matter how much it scared her.
I remember the first time I decided I wanted to learn how to do the moonwalk, but it was never as smooth.
I remember that Michael as a black man was someone I could have a crush on.
I remember being totally afraid of him but having every hit CD.
I remember my brother getting a red and black leather jacket and me being jealous.
I remember my sister had the Michael Jackson doll and Kyron would break his legs trying to make him pop it like he did on stages.
I remember wearing a glove on my right hand for no other reason than Michael had one.
I will always remember him as: The King of Pop!
R.I.P
