I'M IN!
Saturday morning I went for my test to see if I'd qualify for the ACT-Austin Teacher Certification Program. I scored a 45 out of 50 and was listed as "highly qualified" due to my substitution experience and because of English scores at Txstate. I'm able to begin teaching at the beginning of the year!!!!!!
The first person I called was my mom, because I feel like more than anybody she deserves it! And to hear her say she's proud of me is enough...or at least I thought it was until I told David. For him to be proud of me feels good too. Hell I'm proud of myself...it's been a long time coming- thank you for this blessing and more to come.
Ya'll honestly, with graduation being in two weeks and new job opportunities to start teaching- ya'll may just witness me break down on Dec. 15Th!

We went shopping to celebrate (what up Auntie- did you see the shirt?) and then headed to Quentin's, since he is home from Iraq (not the "cry baby" one *lol* but the other one). All in all it was a great weekend. On top of that, I get to see my sister tomorrow and hang out with her the whole day! So it just keeps getting better.
