HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
livin my life like it's golden
Thursday: I love her, him, her, and them! Welcome me in your arms kiss on cheeks and I missed you looks. "Hey Bodee!" "Look at BoBo" "What's up David-hey boo" always good to hear. I fell in love with my her again when I saw her...she's whom I've been waiting for. She looked shorter but still mine. And I almost picked her up when she hugged my neck. Pushing me to open my bday gift-her babygirl is no match to the beautiful jewelry she got me, but still-good enough to have. I barried my love into your lap. I'll never forget that moment, its engraved into my thoughts, heart, and soul-you rubbed my back and played with my hair-a mothers touch can't be replaced. Say grace and LETS EAT! Watch Steve Harvey "Don't Trip" and laugh at laughs that don't make sense. My heart is happy.
Friday: Woke up in her new apt. Glad to hear her voice in person. Worked out with Baybid (can't get to far without doing that). We traveled to the malls (heck-tick!) to replace my shoes (Baybid was determined). We talked and held hands-shared memories-TELL ME SOMETHING I DON"T KNOW ABOUT YOU game. Bought a gift for my niece since her birthday party is tomorrow. Sadness tried to finish me for the night when I went to move my stuff-but my guard wouldn't let it happen. Let it rain-a clear it out!
Saturday: wakeup to her voice again. Her and David are so close they didn't even need me to be awake for convo (make me smile). I worked on my homework, glad I had enough discipline to do so. Watch some cartoons, call me her babygirl, headed to Rayvn (Yea-Yea)'s bday party. SKATIN AT THE RINK! That was a blast. I fell twice, David didn't. My Pissa & B was there along with cake and ice cream from my brother and Shawn! Great party guys. Another chance for us to bond and put Kodak moments into memory. We thought about going out that night (soley for the purpose to wear my shoes), but H-Town was trippin on how much they was chargin to get in NOT THAT SERIOUS! So I'll welcome fam in ATX for when ya'll wanna go out together. Jenna-B came by to drop off my KINGDOM COME! Thank you ma'am. I missed you-my bestfriend, my sister, the closest person to my highschool memories. Hearts curve to you.
Sunday: Thank you Lord. Hands raised, back to my roots for church. And still sitting in between you and him- I couldn't have asked for anything more. Gave hugs. It's the last day but not before Luby's. My sister, B (brother-in-law), mama, and Baybid went to eat. We sat there longer than usual just to laugh at any and everything...traveled down memory lane. But I hold this memory to come up down the lane. We went back to the apartment for naps before road tracks. I had her to say my name one last time to fade into my dreams. I love you. We went to say good bye's to Auntie Sharron (another crazy aunt). And then headed to my sister house off of I-10. "Hey Chee-Chee"(my other niece-only she's a dog) ate cheesecake (your almost as good as mom with that). Hug my neck and say good bye. I told David I almost cried a million times this weekend. His head cocked back-mouth open-and we was in Austin before he knew it.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and are thankful for more than just a little bit. Can't wait to hear them on Gratitude Wednesday tomorrow.
Hearts curve today and always.
P.S. KayDee- I didn't forget about you dawg...you know how it is when I come home and get to see fam. You were and still are in my thoughts-no never minds.
